Here i have uploaded my own personal Motorized Dish Channel Setting List from my Viark Sat 4K Box
i have Almost sorted NovaGR And CosmoteGR on 13E at the end of my 13E Channel list ...a Work in Progress

Monday Sept 9th 2024
Note: it does NOT include any Fav channels
But i have spent 3-4hrs organizing the Channels on 28.2 East and Removal of a lot of Junk putting channels in A Nice easy to Access order
it would be easy enough to delete other Satellites on this list Menu>Installation >Highlight the satellite and Delete
Then the list is for a Fixed 28.2E Dish if it is very desirable then i possibly can upload another list exactly the same only for 28.2E
Will see what members make of my list first ...


Back up your Current Channel list on a USB Stick Before Doing Anything !!
i am not responsible if you did not Back up your Current list Before Loading This Channel list ....

Unzip using WinRar or Winzip or 7Zip etc..
put my .sdx channel list on USB Stick , put USB in back of your Viark Sat 4K box
Select Menu>Net&Games> USB> Select Channels_VIARK09092024.sdx
Press OK> Do You Want to update Software/Database? -> Select Yes & OK Button .

Perhaps some users of New Viark Sat 4K Boxes or GT Media UHD Boxes will find this List somewhat useful as it works Backward compatible for both boxes .

Please leave your Feedback and i may well develop this channel list even further in future.....

SP1 Code it is NOT VIP AND Not Standard Forever
Just SP1 Code on my Viark Sat 4K And Also my GT Media V8 UHD .

The SP1/VIP thing is super confusing jaja. What about picture quality on that SAT comparing for example with the Astra 1?

Not confusing at all whatsoever .
SP1 Code allows 28E iCAM HD/SD and SKY DE @19.2E
VIP Allows BeIN 7.3W/8W
SP2 Code allows 28E iCAM HD/SD and SKY DE @19.2E plus whatever IPTV is possible also .

Pic quality you can judge yourself i think its acceptable even on SD channels as i am not a fussy person by no means .

Confusion probably comes from the wording on the upgrade guide

Yes it can be tricky for many no doubt and may take a few attempts for many ,
for me always has worked first time every time but i am very OCD with that site ... and i do always take my time to make it right first time : )

VIP is not availble in Europe on any box other then a GTmedia Combo. If you have a Viark in Europe your need SP1 or SP2 Spain

Exactly!
It suggests that you need to follow those steps, but after some readings online, people say that isn't mandatory if you already have SP2.

I still am having trouble with the channel list, I was able to load on my visor sat 4K, I’m using new style CHMAX list, distant what default sort should I be using, and how do I jump between groups on the new style list as left and right just jumps up or down pages?

Pressing okay and EPG Button changes to correct Style [ more than 10 channels on screen ]
i use it that way ...Sorry but i just do not use CH Max as its way too demanding for such an under powered Hardware box .
i find Viark SAT 4K and GT Media V8 UHD Can be laggy enough without CH Max using even more Hardware ...just my 2 cents : )

Yea I tried without as that’s how I normally use it but I only see the default Astra 2, FTA Channels, Scramble channels, HD channels and UHD channels, no bouquets as they used to be called and channels in scan order still

This List/s are not going to be 100% Perfection its only a starting point for anyone wanting an easy route to creating a Fav channel list
Themselves , if you are looking for total and absolute perfection i suggest to consider contact Sky TV and requesting a Subscription to their massive IPTV Server .....since they no longer wish to support Satellite TV in any way

I see this on the all sat post so assumed was the same just minus the other sats:

So guess my expectation was they were in some sort of order like:

BBC One
BBC Two
ITV
Channel 4
Channel 5
Etc
Etc

Sorry if I mistakenly thought that.

That was how i tried to keep it but doing that would have kept my list very boring and bland
But i now realize now that you prefer it that way perhaps trying other lists that are in box sub menu will meet your requirements much better .

This is an amazing job man. Keep me posted if you share the list for Astra 1 or Hotbird.
