Viark Forever boxes

The latest 1.15 update of the Viark Sat 4k introduced HDMI-CEC. I activated it in the settings menu options, but I can't turn on the decoder and TV at the same time from the Viark remote control. Instead I can turn off TV and decoder from the Viark remote. Has anyone tried it? Does it work on ignition?

Apollo 5 IPTV seems to be fine on viarksat.

If you try big IPTV Server Like Pr*** OTT or P*** IPTV on linux STB Enigma , you willl see a BIG BIG Difference , it's an other word , but as you said , for backup , why not

There are bound to be better iptv as many people make money from them, but the forever server boxes are sat first IPTV a long way behind. The hd channels are far better quality than any IPTV.

I have seen some incredible quality IPTV that is far superior to Forever HD channels, but I do agree that the HD Forever channels are mostly excellent.

Not possible HD via Sat is the source HD you can not get better than the source. IPTV is compressed with H265 it is not better than source.

Might look okay to you but your paying for a 40sec delayed picture
which usually more times than not for iptv has out of sync audio which is all too common for iptv in general .
i do agree both iptv and Forever are coming from commercial pay server sources at the end of the day
but the delay with iCAM stream relay is only like 5secs and acceptable with in sync audio therefor iptv has a very long way to go before i'd personally ever consider it as a decent alternative or contender to Sat TV ,
IPTV and Fiber streams that now EPL and all major sports use are simply horrific in quality , even for example DAZN last time i tried to look at it via IPTV was brutally out of Sync audio by at least 20secs and the image quality was pixelated garbage .

sure plenty of commercial iptv sellers and resellers will promise the world but when there is an outage or something wrong
then its like trying to contact Mars or another planet its just not happening if your lucky it will only be few streams offline
if reseller has not run a mile once your money is in his bank acc. : )

Dazn rarely stream from satellite now they use fibre.

exactly DAZN , BT [ a.k.a ]TNT/Sky Sport for EPL , NBA , NFL etc..etc.. all using Fiber and ditched Satellite
was not hard to see this past football season Zero EPL football Feed which sadly will continue .

I've tried many an IPTV provider and ultimately can never truly be relied upon. Quality does vary and stability is an issue. Anti glitch bull shit that they advertise is just a con.

These forever, and I don't fully understand the fully working of what the Icam hack is but the picture quality is fine and it has been rock solid.

Yes Iptv has its place and maybe next season i shall have to watch some leeds games on iptv as the games with english commentry might not be available, but if i had the choice watching games on digital albania or sky uk would be my go to choice every time.

Iptv streams are transcoded streams from satellite channels or fibre therefore the iptv video quality will always be worse than its source. Other than that many servers add "4k" to the name of its channels wich is a delusion as they just upscale the streams from sd to 4k resolution.
In addition to this you will never know when the server will stop working without any prior notice and the best example to this is the latest raid on Globe Data centers in the Netherlands last month that caused a total blackout for 600 servers the most of them are still struggling to return back online.

Reading through the thread i see the auto update has been mentioned again has anyone got it working on the DRS2 im missing the betting channels on 5E

load the Softcam.key in your box menu if you want the PowerVU SIS Channels to work : )
SIS channels are PowerVU with static ECM Keys not BISS therefor auto update means nothing whatsoever .
