Viark Forever Boxes Setup No Server Chat

Maybe I did not explain clearly in my previous post.
I know what DAB+ is, I know that Viark is a satellite receiver, and in fact I'm speaking about DAB+ satellite feeds, streaming is not a topic here.
Many european broadcasters use satellite links to feed their DAB+ "ensembles" (muxes) to terrestrial trasmitters, and someone was able to get these feeds using enigma2 receivers, but setup is very difficult as I mentioned.
So this is the reason for which I thought to possible alternative receivers, if any.
Please note that there are so many radio channels encapsulated into these feeds, mainly from the following satellite positions:
5 West: Italy and France
9 East: Italy and UK
28.2 East: more UK (from UK beam)
23.5 East and 7 East: Germany
39 East: Greece and maybe others;
1 West: Norway and maybe others.
I don't know about additional locations.
If you consider all these feeds, you can listen more than 500 radios (almost 200 only into the italian muxes).
As you can see, it is not a secondary topic, so it could be interesting to understand if it is possible using the Viark receivers. Maybe the PT firmware developers could consider this. Thanks.

They can't even sort epg correctly so can't see them spending money on dab+ for a extremely small group of buyers.

has anyone had dificaulty lately to renew iks on viark 4k ?
i am trying to renew sp1 for spain but the sites i used befor to renew seem to be not able to,
has something changed lately, i have been away from home lately so not up to date with the sat scene
thanks all

Just Google it mate.

No one here is allowed to recommend where to get a sub.

what i am saying is the sites i used before now can not renew it, ive done at least 7 boxes in the past for friends
there seems to be a big problem on renewals in general for iks

Majority USE Crypto Currency or Mango Coins or Bit Coins these days .
But nobody here is advertising or selling any Subs ... so not sure why you are failing to ask specific Viark Box question/s ??
Instead simply repeating off topic questions that you already know literally breaks forum Rules to try and answer .
We do not Sell, Supply or Promote Third Party Subscriptions not sure why you find that so very impossible to understand ? ...once again Google it !!

Last week I renewed SP1 for my Forever box. Last year I renewed on a well-known site, using Paypal. This time, I saw that they had removed Paypal, so I searched another seller on Google, with PayPal option (I don't use any crypto or stuff like that).

It was so easy to find a supplier who has Paypal option. Just google it, and you will find. Nobody can guarantee for a seller or a website.

A lot of sellers will reccomend you to activate SP1 or SP2 Spain. If you are not in Spain, just ignore them, and take SP1 or SP2 as you need, because the sellers want just profit, and Spain SP cost more than SP1 or SP2 for Europe.

Hi there,

just an update on the situation I reported earlier this week... Tried everything that came to mind and that was recommended here to no avail. New HDMI cables, resolutions checked, everything and the thing just continued to look the same.

As a last resort measure I did go back to version PT 2.21 and tadaaaaaa, all sorted again and back to normal!

I really can't find what is goign on with the receivers but with PT 2.22 I get the issue I reported, with PT 2.21 all seems ot be fine and full resolution and image smoothness comes back. Odd to say the least.

Luckily no providers have been lost, for now, but I do know that sooner or later I'll start to lose them.

My viark sat HD when it was active with sp1 has now expired the only difference was cosmote sports on hotbird are on new server 1.46 (ver2.22) and not on server 1.45 version(2.21) the scart connection was disabled on new firmware ver 2.22 maybe thats got something to do with picture quality problems on ver 2.22

Yeah, I'm with you on the Scart part causing the issue.

I really only use them for 28.2 98% of the time....
