Vantage HD8000s question

I have a Vantage HD8000s receiver and use it here in Demark to see Canal Digital nordic,
does anybody know how to make it automatically update epg, without changing the channel to Discovery world and wait 3-5 mins while it updates epg for the next 2 days.

Make daily timer ex 5.55-6.00 on disc world and yuo will have an updated EPG on CD nordic all the time.:thum::thum::thum::thum:

Thanks Faeter BR thats a good idea i will try that.

I think found out how the EPG works.

It seems that every channel has now and next data, if you want more EPG days etc 2 or more days, every sat system Sky, Canal digital, viasat, has a default EPG transponder, on some sat receivers you can set this to the correct EPG transponder for the system you use.

I think the Vantage HD8000s is set to Astra 19E, for some reason you cant set this to other transponders, which i think is a thing Vantage should change with a new firmware?
But then this box is very German/Holland, and you cant email contact Vantage to ask them, their support is nearly non exsistent.

EPG

Hi Faeter BR tried the timer thing but does not work as i dont have a hard disk in this box and you have to tell it which hard disk to record to, i never record programs so no need.

I am getting tired of this box its too restrictive and no Vantage support, i will never buy a Vantage box again, soon cheap box for sale i think.
