I browsed though this E2 section in the forum but cant find any thread about installing the enigma2 on usb stick. I dont think its mentioned in the sticky tutorial either.
I found a post about it at the satpimps forum, but that was very old and involved using jazup
I do suspect that this also can be done using azup or the MAT tool.
It would be nice to be able to use usb, so that one can test images without viping your working flash image every time.
If anyone here have done this, it would be nice if they could bother anwering a few questions about this.
Is it as simple as running azup and select USB instead of DOM and flash the image?
Does it work with any USB port, or do you need to use a specific one?
Will it then work like this: If usb stick inserted it boots automaticly from usb. And with usb stick removed it boots like normal from flash?
I've noticed a comment on satpimp that the image in flash needs to be the same kernel as in usb. I guess most of the recent images have the newest kernel - or could this be a problem?
