Update key ?

Hi all,

Sorry quite a noob question here..

I just got a new key and I know the key is working (new cablecom key), but I can't make it work. I should do something wrong.

I've updated the following files with the new key:
/var/key/softcam.key
/var/key/keylist.txt
/var/scce/keylist

Then I restarted the scam_3.60 module, but it didn't do the trick.. I also tried to install Ccam_2.1.4 and Cccam_2.3.0..

Any help ?

It wasn't working for me until I downloaded this one:

Dont forget to name it SoftCam.Key and to overwrite the one you have in /var/keys/

not sure if it matter but the permission on mine are set to 755 in case.

Thanks, I tried with your file and I changed the permission to 755 but still nothing.

Are you also using scam_3.60 ?

Thanks Clint ! It worked!

I've downloaded Hdsc Keysbundel replaced all files in key scce and scam folders, restarted scam module and BOUM tv is back!

Hi guys,
I followed your inputs, but still doesn't work on my side.
I replace the the softcam.key files with the one of Hdsc Keysbundel, restarted, but nothing..

Any ideas?

Do you have the latest Hdsc Keysbundel ? Mine is dated of today, found it here

Also I've replaced all files from the bundel to the dreambox, not only the softcam.key file.

Here you go:

- Download the keybundle (google for "hdsc-keybundle" to find it).
- Extract the keybundle
- Use a FTP client to connect to your dreambox
- copy all files from the bundle to the corresponding directory on your dreambox (/var/key, /var/scce and /var/scam).
- restart your soft cam on your dreambox.
