Bloody good on my machine, doing it all from the box almost...;)

Well, not quite but if you spend some time seatrching the Ubuntu forum and scouring the net - you can make it all work...:)

Not yet as good and as easy as Win XP but getting there!!!

Great fun and getting ever better!!!:thum:

Enjoy, warmly recommended!!!

Cheers!

I tried a few distros but this one... you can see that a South African young millionaire is trying to give Bill Gates a run for his money... Well funded and oriented towards ordinary people, not so much the geeks... And not a minute too soon!!! Great pressure on all of them!!!:D

Imagine, Mac are stealing from Linux, Macrohard stealing from Mac and now Linux are talking about learning from Macrohard, in some ways...

Yep! That's what we want! Good kind of competition!!!:clapping:

Forward!!!:thum:

I've been using Fedora for some time now... it's a stable system, but I'm considering the switch to Ubuntu. I've been running ubuntu from the virtual machine for some time now.

Looks like it's time to take the plunge

with Ubuntu you have the great package-management from Debian (apt) and it's much more easy to install graphic drivers, multimedia codecs and other propritair software/drivers (for example, the fglrx driver or the nvidia driver)
