Three girls, three voices, three musical universe but one and the same passion for rhythm and blues. Rosemary Standley (singer Moriarty), Brisa Roché and Ndidi Onukwulu have decided to form The Lightnin 3 to pay tribute to 60s R'n'B.
To do so, the trio does not just dip into the catalogs of Motown or Stax, it would be too easy. Rosemary, Ndidi and Brisa much prefer to cover sixties sauce tubes pop icons such as David Bowie, Cat Power and George Michael. They are thus several decades of music-making which are included with a talent such as you'd think these songs were indeed written it 50 years ago.
