O tried but did something wrong (probably forgot to set rigt file permissions) and I could no start my CS anymore. I had to use a nullmodem cable :D

But I will try again in few seconds, it has to work I assume.

Ok, it was my mistake for sure. Make sure you allow the file to execute (CHMOD 777 just to be sure) otherwise neutrino will not start at all ater a reboot.

I have this new version now running and everything seems as smooth as before. I do not see the big differences yet besides the filesize. It reduces a lot and that is already very positive because it gives you more memory for other things.

Dear Partybuster,

Could you please explain where exactly do we have to place the neutrino.tar.gz (and chmod it to 777)? As I understand this is not an image itself but it acts like an add-on...Am I right? How can we install it after all.
Thank you very much in advance,

you can unpack the tar.gz after uploading it to your /bin directory but you can also (and that is what I did) unpack it with winzip and upload it by ftp to the /bin directory replacing the old file. Then before you restart chmod the file !!!

it's part of the GUI you see on your screen and somehow they reduced the size from 2MB to 1.4MB.

take a look here also, can be fun to see even if you don't know anything about it
