Had a problem like that some months ago. Used this method to overcome problem.
Switch off at rear, hold in any 2 buttons on front and switch on again. It should come up with a screen of details switch off and on at rear shold now start. Goog luck

try turning your power button of on the rear of the tech box
then press and hold the power on button and the channel up button
at the same tome as turning the power button back on
this should give you a screan with several choices on it
scroll to the nvram reset and select it
this does the same as factory reset.

i had the same problem when try to dowload firmware and stop at half way is the red light comes up even when its on and cable doesnt read it the box well i took it to tecnomate in uk which i live there and they dowload the firmware again from the main pc its fine now i think you need original loader something any way tell me whre you live

I will take it to a satellite shop in Doncaster on Saturday. Hopefully they'll fix it.
hi have you tried a forced download
it might be better to use technomates own firmware for this
Used Technomate's own firmware and loader prog. Bingo, up and running again.

if you are up and running again
before you load the latest patch, do a factory reset
switch of power on back of box for a few seconds
then load latest patch
then off with power again
then load latest softcam
and enjoy
