strong 4920 biss code help?(beginner)

Hello,

I have a strong 4920 model and I really don't know anything about upgrading.
What I need is that I want to be able to enter the biss code for some channels. I have searched online and the only thing I found was code that I have to enter like 6969 or 8282 but when I press those nothing happens.
Please let me know what to do to get the biss code available.

S/W Version: 1.00(Jul 10 2012)
H/W Version: 1.00
Boot Version: 2.00
CH Version: A027

is that what you asked for?

I'm so sorry. That was a typo.
The model is srt4920

look round here at strong sector,u will have the latest soft for this strong place it in your pen drive and load it in to the deck. wait til everything is finish and boot on and then you enter 8280 and the biss page will open ,goodluck,

Thanks for the reply.
What I understand is that I will need some things:
1. latest software for the str 4920
2. a usb drive to copy the latest software into it

My question is,
1. what is the latest software for srt 4920? There are lots of softwares in this section. Please help me with that.
2. when I insert the usb drive into the receiver, do I have to go to a menu or do something in order to start the update process? or it will start the update automatically?

Hi
the latest soft is v1.75put it your usb drive go to menu of your receiver select external device press ok pick up the file v175 and press ok on remote wait till every thing is finished and receiver boots back to nomal there u can go in and seach for your biss page. good luck
