I never tested GT Media (Mars), but I can say some starsat works very fine.
I don't like to say "starsat" because not all models work the same way
(SR-X3 Pro was very bad).
But typical SR-2000 series, T13, 9000Hd are very good.
It depends on box features but above all on firmware (quoted boxes have often firmware update available).
Such boxes seems to be optimized for such function
My Tiger one million works the same way
For what I see old not-android boxes seem better: not so much bugs
and did their work correctly.
On any androids you need to reboot often because box goes in crash and doesn't update the cw, above all if you have many cw stored.
Lately I try an old SR-2000 Hyper: it's an old box with tuner not so fine,
but it work correctly on aubiss as the others.

I just checked the SR-2000 series, T13, 9000Hd models. They are old, possibly discontinued. And buying starsat equipment can be difficult, as they are only sold in the west asia region.

Recently my starsat t14 has been very fast autobiss theres the odd feed that i reboot box to get key if not updated.my t13 and t14 worked the same.haven't used starsat sr 2090 extreme dolby and starsat sr2020 hd with subs.My gt media v8 uhd and x8 with mars was slower but still worked.My gt media combo with original firmware was very good at autobiss when starsat failed on some feeds but recently the autobiss on gt combo has been very poor.most if not all of the time i have to reboot combo and key not found still.
My experience starsat /viark /gt media with forever/ mars use same autobiss server.
the gt media combo gt media v8 uhd with original firmware comes with autobiss is on different autobiss server.

My Starsat SR-2000 Hyper is the best of my boxes for BISS AU always has been the fastest by quite a margin ,
The GT Media V8 UHD finds CW but takes mostly a min or more
The Viark Sat 4K also works but this is the slowest of all can be 2-3 mins before key is found .
That is my Testing the Starsat SR-2000 Hyper wins every time no contest .
