Very low 27.5w Intelsat 901 signals on setback today in Spain and UK, Sun outage maybe or TP issues?

I simply cannot lock any more.
1.8 m Channel Master (Italy).
Tried to nudge a bit position, with no avail.
Maybe doing a better pointing which was not important until now, I could regain something. But who knows.
For the moment nil.

Weather is however "not optimal" (very bad) down here.

Shouldn't be Sun outage as thats usually mar/oct time, maybe maintenance or they have turned the signal down?

it's defo not sat related I have siminn tv same as before, i rather say the problem comes from the uplink feed

Was total wipe-out here in Canaries so think they must have been doing some repositioning. It is back here with slightly reduced strength.

Signal here finally reached previous strength yesterday morning (ie after 24 hours down about 20% of normal). Has remained exactly as before the outage now for 24 hours despite varying cloud cover. Let‘s hope that is it for now

Sat is very old. Has been coupled to a service one launched to lengthen its life, but we are enjoying its last moments as far as I know.

2025 MEV-1 will move Intelsat 901 back to a final graveyard orbit and release it before moving to another potential client

My signal has dropped from 67% this morning to 50 % here in Northern Italy. Cant get clear picture. I changed my LNB because I had a similar problem last month.

15db 97% here in Eire with 1.2m CM Offset dish 27.5w Intelsat 901
17% drop in signal is not normal ....have you tried moving your dish a few steps i presume its a motorized dish ??
