Attention: box not useable after flashing

I use the USB stick flashing methode.

When upgrading from "SifTeam 0.1.7-r8107 06.10.08" to "SifTeam 0.1.8-r8264" I got a "PANIC" after "START" on the IPBox 900 display.

I now flashed first a full (32 Mb) image (in my case: "cli-abcom7927-cuberevoMINI"). I still get a panic?!?

So I flashed "cuberevo-mini_r8264.171731". Guess what, still a panic.

Any ideas? :(

I'm too have a Panic, but after download avi and mpg files to the "divx" folder!

Some of you are getting the panic probably because you are using a skin by Crash which hasn't been modified for the changes in the firmware like video player.
Skin updates are available via sif team panel.

Only problem is: I never get to see the sif team panel.

I get a PANIC, Just after START on the front panel.

The USB update process works, but something changed with the new image because now I get a PANIC after flashing another image. Any image.

In short, my IPBow is bricked!

Any idea wich image I should try to unbrick him? I tried a 32Mb image, but that also didn't work :(:(.

i updated by going from 0.1.7 sifteam i have been using. I then flashed with: nlb8107mini then with this new image, all worked well.

Btw transferring files via ftp from esata hdd whilst recording will screw up the files, then may not open in videoredo tv suite and you box may freeze and may not record other shows and may PANIC. so wait until records are done before transferring to pc.

Fingers crossed a sifteam enigma1 isn't too long off.

Did the same as you, nlb8107mini and then SifTeam 0.1.8-r8264.

It worked, no more PANIC :D.

Find it a little strange that it has to be this sequence of flash upgrades to get the box working, but hey, at least no more panics.

New problem:

When I use PCEditor 1.2.46_Beta11b to look at the webinterface of the IPBox, then I get an error (invalid character).

When I use Firefox to look at the webinterface of the IPBox, then everything works.

Is probably more a PCEditor bug?

Before updated SifTeam 0.1.7-r8107

It's necessary before I updated SifTeam 0.1.7-r8107 to SifTeam 0.1.8-r8264 that I must upgrade uboot 1.3.1 to 1.3.2?

there is no such need, because only difference is that 1.3.2 has added a text on the front panel display when software upgrade using USB memory stick .

Uboot 1.3.1: USB UPGRADE -> ERASING -> FLASHING
Uboot 1.3.2: USB UPGRADE -> Loading -> ERASING -> FLASHING

Help!
when switching audio language manually e.g. german to englisch, no sound at all on other channels till you switch back back again to original sound.

Any suggestion...please help.
