Which is the best serial port monitor for neotion?

RS232. Any opensource or freeware. I tested a fews but is shareware. Which is the best of them? i like to send commands and snif all communictions betewen the receiver and computer. I like to do this to interact with a linux box.

I just bought RS232 to upgrade strong SRT4652, but there was no communication between the receiver and the computer. What could be the solution?

When you connect your receiver with your PC through RS232 you have to check what serial port number is the RS232, is com1 or com2 or another number

And you must check the pins of the cable that they are right by Neotion you must have 5-5 and 2-3 and 3-2 conect check this too :thum::thum:

You need a nullmodem cable (cross) for communictation not a normal rs232. check your device manager and see how many ports com you are. If a desktop then normaly is port COM1 or COM2 (choose in settings of your program). If you have a usb2rs232 then you need to install the correct drivers and when you atach the cable you see a message in taskbar of port what you use.
See if you have the right program. Turn on your receiver (many dont upgrade in standby). GOOD LUCK
