hi guys just wondering is there many on here from uk that can actually view RTE channels on saorsat at 9.e
i know its a tight footprint, also what dish suize are you using in the uk to view it,think theres a better chance of viewing saorsat if your on or near the coast.
any how all live sporting events are blocked out for irish viewers, the live sporting events are just brtoadcasted on saorview the irish terresterial service.

I bolted a Ka band lnb alongside my Ku lnb on a 1.3m prime focus dish and with all the correct settings got good Saorsat signals on 9e.
BUT I am on the extreme west coast of the UK. Look at the foot print here --- https://satbeams.com/footprints?beam=6714
Having got it to work -- because I could -- I took the Ka lnb off and went back to my Saorview terrestrial aerial pointed at Mt Leinster which gives me everything available on Saorsat and more .
Hope that helps .

Very nice indeed you can receive mount Leinster from your location which will give you all the available channels and also the live sporting events as it's only live on terrestrial
