Riccardo Del Fra is a legend. Simply. The Italian bassist, now head of the top jazz and improvised music and dance Paris National Conservatory music department, played with the greatest of Dizzy Gillespie with Toots Thielemans, Chet Baker and especially, he accompanied during the last 10 years.
In 2011, he also created "My Chet, My Song" in tribute to Chet Baker at the Jazz in Marciac festival, with Roy Hargrove, Pierrick Pedron, Bruno Ruder, Billy Hart, and the orchestra of the National Conservatory of Toulouse directed by Jean-Pierre Peyrebelle. He also worked with Annie for a project Erbel jazz fusion and traditional Breton songs, and performed soundtracks for Fellini like Belvaux.
