Just checked and I have signal strength and quality on that transponder.
I also advise that when installing 1.11 that you also install the new factory version 6.00
Reset through recovery, install factory v6.00 then go straight to installing v1.11 no need now to use the special firmwate

Just edit the symbol rate value, the correct one is 30000.

Also, there is a note in the Spanish forum saying that: if the box have the factory 6.0 firmware, we can install directly the version 1.12, without that step with the Special fw (exactly as it was with the 1.11).
Although I'm note sure if who already has the 1.11 can directly install the 1.12 from the OTA update menu (I suppose we can). Otherwise, factory reset, 6.0, reset, 1.12, reset

Serial number is 100% fixed.
30w scans if your not using motor settings, i hear they are working on that.
It is now certainly getting supported and issues reported on forum are getting sorted bit by bit with these updates.
My lcd when changing channels shows the channel number then flicks over to the time.

That's odd then, i will boot back into it tomorrow and check again. I wonder if something has gone wrong with backing up my channel list etc. I have a hedges list to try so will also load that one and see if it makes a difference.
I'll reset from recovery, install 6.00 then 1.12 resetting inbetween and see what happens. I always have the front panel dimmed down so didn't notice anything until you said about yours.
Also needed three attempts to scan 13e yesterday found the transponders ok but didn't find any channels, there was no Quality and Strength

Im betting the motor didnt move first 2 attempts. I find if you highlight the sat you want to scan and press ok 2 or 3 times it will move.
Posibly but I blind scanned and it picked up a load of transponders but didn't find and channels I think it was due to the zero Q and S

I did the exactly same way, straight from 1.11 to 1.12 through usb drive. Hispasat, serial number problems, etc fixed, thanks. However a new one was introduced. There is a very annoying bug that happens sometimes while zapping, that channels are jumped and the LCD shows 0000. If I'm, for eg, in the channel 1, then 2, 3, and suddenly it jumps to the 5th. The temporary solution is to go "home" or "menu" in the remote to "force" the device reload the channel's list. Maybe trying a fresh update from 6 to 1.12 with resets in between sooner, as Jester1 suggested.
Besides that, the most annoying (and persistent) problem is the access of the device to the server in what concerns (at least) the portuguese 30w channels. Every time we have an update, for some time after that some channels that were clearing with the previous don't clear with the new version. Also, channels that are showing up with other devices from the "same family" like Viark 4k or Sat, don't clear, even if you put one alongside the other, in the same network, with the same server version, with the last updates, etc.
I did not test the autobiss function with this version, but I would appreciate if they could patch the device with the Satback in 15W as it was in the 27.5W. About adding biss keys manually, I think you can (at least I could in previous versions) in the keys menu, though it was always a mistery to me how to add the frequency data of a given channel. If I could ask them something, I'd like to suggest if they could add the "add biss key menu" function in one of that buttons that we can add customisable shortcuts. That and one for the satellites list. Would be a bless!
