Did you notice too that feneki channel list its very slow? because there are a lot of channel to load unfortunately![]()
Settings, Preferences, Display, HDR then off.also with the last channel list, hdr is always enabled, how can i disable?
Oh, dear Kegnkiwi, we are in the same boat.
Good to know that the problem is not with my unit in particular, but general and then more closely to be fixed (cross-fingers...).
But sad to realize that you lost your backup. It's always a pain to, after scanning, sort the channels on that Geant Channel Editor (or even worse with the remote).![]()
Since I have multiple lnbs connected with a diseqc, I always have to set everything up and I could swear that I have double-checked every parameter (voltage, diseqc port, etc although I'm not completely sure about the 22KHz), but with the Dual we never know... stranger things happens all time!I had the same problem with the Hispasat 30W, but i think i find the solution.
In the Antenna Configuration when you select the HISPASAT satellite there are some parameters that are not ok by default:
"LNB Power": 18V
"DisEQC1.0": LNB2
"22KHz": off
If i do my Automatic or Blind search with these parameters it scan only 50-60 channel.
The solution for my side was change to these parameters:
"LNB Power": 13V/18V
"DisEQC1.0": None (in my case)
"22KHz": Auto
With these parameters if scan more than 300 channels in Automatic or Blind search.
Check this guys and let us know if it fix the issue in your side too
Others have already noticed that the lists contain not only channel data, but also many other settings, Coordinates, motor, LNB sub, etc.However, after uploading the backup, you can look for the exactly same individual tp's, do a blind scan and then, miraculously, it finds all channels.
These parameters should of worked on your switchThe way I "solved" the problem for now was uploading my channels backup. Curiously, after having my backup installed, making a new search (blind or not) will bring the usual +350 Hispasat channels, not only the 50-60 with the raw installation of 1.11.![]()
SUCCSESS! Thank you all!These parameters should of worked on your switch
LNB Power”: change to “13V/18V”
Diseqc1.0”: “None’ (in our case)
22KHz: change to “Auto”
Seems like the dual is moving forward in its developmentYou know, Dual's owner trauma![]()
Yeah, that's unarguably true. (No more random boot loops its a bless). However, the overall experience still unsatisfactory. For eg., the most essencial thing is to open channels as quick as possible. But if you compare the Dual with a Viark 4K, you will be overwhelmed with the difference in terms of time needed to clear one given channel, or channels clearing in the Viark but not in the Dual. I did that experience myself and that is shameful (Dual and V4k in Hispasat).Seems like the dual is moving forward in its development
If you haven't already, start afresh with the new factory firmware v6.00 then go straight to v1.11 for me channels mostly open within 5 seconds nowYeah, that's unarguably true. There is something between the device and the server that needs to be improved, because some channels take ages to clear (or not even clear) in the Dual in comparison with the other Viarks.
Humm, are you telling me that there is some kind of improvement in starting afresh with the 6.0 and then straight to 1.11 in comparison with the previous procedure? My current installation started with a factory reset, then 5.0, reset, special firm, reset, 1.11, reset.If you haven't already, start afresh with the new factory firmware v6.00 then go straight to v1.11 for me channels mostly open within 5 seconds now

Since I do not have much to lose, I think I will give it a chance![]()
Channel switching on Sly de has been reduced by 4 seconds.starting afresh with the 6.0 and then straight to 1.11
Yes it looks like some of the improvements are in the factory 6.00 firmware.
I loaded factory 6.00 using the recovery method and factory reset after both 6.00 and 1.11
And I didn't load any database backups I rescanned my sats
Thx guys! I did as you suggested, factory reseting and then 6.0, reset, 1.11, reset, and I can afirm that the overall experience in terms of how quick it clears channels has improved a little bit. I surfed for a while during the weekend from 30W to 28.2E and the outcome was very satisfactory, better that before certainly. However, my beloved Portuguese channels remain more or less the same, with some sports and movies channels not clearing at all. But who cares about Portuguese channels?Channel switching on Sly de has been reduced by 4 seconds.
These used to take 6-8 seconds due to double coding. I haven't experienced any other changes during a few hours of mixed use.
This is the one i use from hedges its from september. Its a full motorised list though.Hi guys, please
I needed a list with 4 satellites which are 30ºw, 13, 19.2 and 28.0 E. Because I have a small problem when changing satellites I no longer have access to channels on the new satellite.
Also, my list is almost a year old.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.
