Problem with Samsung TX500

Hi I am having a problem with my Home Theater System (Samsung HT-TX500) the power button on the systems keeps flashing red and wont come on, either by remote or by the power button. I have trying turning the power off at the wall, but when I turn it back on the flashing starts again. Is there a way to fix this please, thanks.

Try removing all the cables from the rear but keeping the plug in the electicity. Then you have to leave it like that for several hours (10-12 is a good idea). Flashing red light is fixed by just removing the HDMI cable, but mine unit won't turn of right after doing this - it has to stay like that for some time. Good luck!
