Problem streaming from enigma2 receiver to outside home network

I have a Dreambox 4k with openatv 6.4.

I set it up to stream outside my house network. If they are SD channels it works fine but HD channels are constantly stopping. Apparently it could be a bandwidth issue but if I stream a 4k movie from the hard drive I have in the box it works flawlessly... so it doesn't seem to me to be related to bandwidth...

Are there any settings I can change in the Dreambox?

Any idea what's causing the stops?

On my Pc i use the WebInterface to access the box then tried with with vlc, ace player and media player classic.

On my android phone to access the box i use Dreamdroid and then Mx player or Vlc...

The outcome it´s always the same!

I tried with both... same outcame.
It can only be related to something in the Dreambox...

Fiber with 500gbs upload and 100 gbs download...
Enough to stream a 4k movie without any freeze

In my side, I have dm920 within newnigma2 image.
It's works perfectly from outside.
Perhaps one test than can you do is to test from home, with wifi connection but with the external adress.
To be sure if it is coming from internet or the box.
If the issue come from the box you should normally have the same issue when your are @ home !

Is it possible to stream Sly DE icam channels from enigma2 to outside? I tried different options but it seems that as icam channels just as “streaming” channel for the box, they cannot be streamed one more time… it is correct?

Yes, you can not stream that channels...

In my home networks the stream works without problem. I already had tested from home, with wifi connection but with the external adress... and the freezes are back again...

Maybe a open atv image related problem?

You can do a test using newnigma. You can use barry Allen to install multiple images on a usb stick ! It works very well !

Same problem in NewEnigma...

Did you change settings on this image? Do you use StreamServer?

I use a Vpn to connect home. Do you use a different connection?

Yes I am using direct connection without vpn.
The use of vpn should be the problem, because you have within encryption you loose a lot on internet speed.
the of udp on vpn does not guarantee that all packets arrive !
try to test a direct connection you can protect your dreambox by strong password !

I did not tested a direct connection but after some reading i think Vpn it's is a good explanation for my problem.... Although I still don't understand how it works with the stream of HD and 4k video files
