I'm using Oscam- r11715-798 on Octagon & Edision Enigma2 boxes and I have noticed, Oscam identifies some channels on the same MUX as PowerVU and BISS, and as a result no video or audio on those channels, but on the same MUX, channels identifying only as PowerVU video and audio are working. Any suggestion as how this can be corrected?

Answer: I think the default was 4, but I changes it to 6, because of this note (#[ Use 6 the Best value for (opensource) images only ]) on the config file

Answer: I don't understand why it isn't showing any HASH either. That's why I'm really confused. If I go to another channel within that MUX there is a HASH. This issue is present on some other MUXes too.

Thanks, I will do some reading and research to make sense of these. In the meantime, please look at the those last 3 configuration files and let me know what I'm not doing right.
I have this problem with 2 of my sf8008 receivers (have 3), not that it happens a lot? At first I tried to find the BISS key with no luck? I couldn't figure why the channel would come in on one receiver while not on another receiver? I use more than one CAM on all my receivers. One of them has 3 cam's and two have 5 cam's. The quick short answer to fix for me is to change cam to get picture.I'm not getting anywhere with this.
I really am sure that the channels this happens on are not BISS in any way. The problem lies somewhere inside the cam's. I have no idea where the fix could be? Or, why it even happens?
I have also gone down/up a channel and back and the channel pop in, doesn't happen often, but has? (I think?)
I have also switched cam's and went back and the channel would work where just a minute earlier it was showing it as BISS?
I have no idea what is causing this, but don't see it as a problem since I can switch cam's and get a picture....
I would however be interested if someone could find the problem and fix it...!!!

I renamed the file and restarted Oscam and the problem was FIXED!!!!!
Now time to look for the line code that causes the problem. Any suggestions will be welcome!Renaming the *.dvbapi file to invalidate it fixed the problem. Thanks to Jdavid22 for the suggestion.
I tried this format but the issue wasn't fixed until I renamed the dvbapi file to an unrecognizable name by oscam. Could you look into the dvbapi file to see what maybe causing the false flagging of BISS?
