I have a Metabox receiver with installed software Dreamsoft 1.4.7
Delta: @SAT CX-5010. This is connected to Astra Satellite. Now, I would appreciate if you can explain me step-by-step (I am completely new in the subject)what files I have to download from the PC to the receiver and how.

to Update your stb you should have
1-loader
2-latest sw( dreamsoft1.x.x.x)
(you can find the loader and sw in the forum)
and follow these steps:


Loading software into receiver
Look at your receiver in front cover and see if it's eMetabox or eMetabox II
Download the loader and the bin file (sw)

Connect the RS232 or serial port on the rear of receiver and PC with null modem cable.
Powerup the PC and receiver
Run the loader, set the com port (serial port) and click set. Then click "open code data"
and point to the bin file (AFTER you unrar / unzip) and Start send.
The transfer will begin and the receiver will be programmed and coundown from "d-30" to says "Good".
Switch off and wait 5 seconds and switch on again.

to applicate the new patch
enter to
1-menu
2-edit key
3-edit key
4-press the red boutton then "yes"
