Not sure if this is right thread but...
I have had a 10 ft fiberglass for about 9 years now and have had various issues over the years. Some drive you crazy and others not so much. The last week or so has been frustrating. We had a large windstorm for about 3 days. Knocked out power and internet for days. I now have a packet loss problem on DVB Dream. Signal good and quality good but picture good for a few then blocky and green for a few. It repeats over and over again. Tried multiple satellites and same issue.
10 ft fiberglass polar mount
ASC1 for dish mover
PC with TBS 6983
Has run fine for years. Checked and cleaned lnb after the problem started.
Have messed with skew, elevation, azimuth and nothing seems to fix the problem. Pole is plumb. The wires are overhead wires from dish to house. Was thinking that maybe, because wires are also about 9 years old, that something may be internally wrong with the rg-6 (not 100% sure if that is what it is,) because of all the wind. It is weird to me that I am not losing signal, only dropping packets?? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
I do have screen capture and will add as soon as I figure out how to..
Maybe a 5G interference thing..I don't know
