Packet loss problem

Not sure if this is right thread but...

I have had a 10 ft fiberglass for about 9 years now and have had various issues over the years. Some drive you crazy and others not so much. The last week or so has been frustrating. We had a large windstorm for about 3 days. Knocked out power and internet for days. I now have a packet loss problem on DVB Dream. Signal good and quality good but picture good for a few then blocky and green for a few. It repeats over and over again. Tried multiple satellites and same issue.

10 ft fiberglass polar mount
ASC1 for dish mover
PC with TBS 6983

Has run fine for years. Checked and cleaned lnb after the problem started.
Have messed with skew, elevation, azimuth and nothing seems to fix the problem. Pole is plumb. The wires are overhead wires from dish to house. Was thinking that maybe, because wires are also about 9 years old, that something may be internally wrong with the rg-6 (not 100% sure if that is what it is,) because of all the wind. It is weird to me that I am not losing signal, only dropping packets?? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

I do have screen capture and will add as soon as I figure out how to..

Maybe a 5G interference thing..I don't know

Sounds to me like a Codecs issue .
i did get that Green screen few years ago when running an old weak cheap GPU while trying to watch 4:2:2 Feeds in KU Band , not anything else it really can be since you said your signal is good enough cables and C Band LNB Checked .
Did you add any or mess with the Codecs recently ?
i would certainly look into your codecs settings try changing the codecs settings on DVB Dream because that does appear the issue hopefully you have a decent GPU running i do'nt know if a high powered GPU is required for C Band i would imagine it is , but Try installing LAV Filters they are the best do no harm to update your codecs regardless ....

SEE HERE => https://www.sat-universe.com/index....r-and-decoders.206754/page-20#post-2037170201

please write back its interesting issue i hope other members post some advice on this issue too ..
Good luck : )

I have not messed with codecs. I have an NVidia Geforce 1070 8 gb card. I have been using LAV 0.76.1 but I am going to upgrade to 0.77.1. I will let you know if it makes a difference.

Didn't make a difference. I will have to go be more thorough on the wire checking I think. I am in US so 5G might be a concern.

Had the same issue here with wind damage be smart goto your true south satalite and verify lift or push up and down.
If the dish didn't turn on the pole or pole moved is to check first. There is 5G troubles in the NA area.
Also if $ is not a issue Titanium has 5G lnbf's for sale but you will need to replace by next December when they move up to 4000 mhz.
You know the NA site to go and read others are having issues there but do what i first said. If your in the USA your price is not bad for the
lnbf but be aware by the time it comes north of the border it's more than double. Give a follow up if you can.
edit: Be sure to check the pole is level FIRST or nothing will fix that across the arc.

So $ was an issue (more timing due to wife really over spending for holiday.) So I got a 5g lnb from Titanium today and installed. So far packet loss problem has vanished. Will update if it returns but I feel it won't. Not till the move to 4000 mhz anyway. Got the single output version and it is much sturdier than previous lnbs I have purchased from them. Now I can watch Super Bowl feed without commercials.....oh wait.....probably want to see the commercials...he he. Thanks to everyone for the advice! Go Chiefs!!!

Glad the lnb fixed your issue , did notice when having weak signal green shows since the sky filled with 5G.
The Titanium is very well marked for skew and focal depth.I don't have 5G here but wanted a dual output and not from China.
