Newbie needs help with Comag receiver!

Help!

Hopefully someone can.

I have a Comag SL100HD receiver which very stupidly, I tried to add ITV HD to.

Downloading the .UDF file was easy, as was opening it with Alieditor and adding the ITV HD info. The file appeared to save OK, and quite happily allowed me to upload it to flash in the receiver.

Then I find I have no Satellite info any more, so I attempt to check the .UDF file on my PC and find that Alieditor has trashed the format.

I'm now stuck with a receiver that won't allow me to add Satellites through the menu system or through editing the .UDF file again.

Comag UK have been very unhelpful, quoting that the software is not under warranty, so I have to send it back to them and they will reconfigure it, and pay!!!! Even though I used their suggested editor!

We all know that this just needs a clean channel file to be uploaded, (my backup got overwritten by mistake (yes I know, plonker!!!))

So, the question is, can anybody out there mail me a good clean copy of the channel file from your Comag SL100HD?

Also, has anyone ever managed to edit the .UDF file on this model successfully, and can you tell me which editor you used or better still let me have a copy?

there is a file on emule peer to peer network I think comag_sl100hd_UK_Channels.udf . I think the format of the channel file changed with one of the firmware updates so it now has to be shorter than it used to be . That might explain the apparent discrepancy with the Ali editor . It might help to install a newer formware file first in case your channel file overwrote the OS software .
