Just got 900 and want to know if there is any way to use 9000 images on 900 box looking and all things should be possible just need push in right direction if possible. as an Itgate/dreambox user still finding my feet, second question is there any access to dgstation or private 9000/900 cvs?

New to 900hd/9000 and CVS

do you think 900 and 9000 they have the same hardware and you think you can upload 9000hd image to 900 pls talk after you think....
@tracermut not at the moment cvs not even lather ....what i think.....cos of GPL and HDMI issue....cant be public but but lather i think they can give part of it...anyhow they all ready start enigma in this box....we will see what will come...

Sorry maybe your right, read this changlog.txt that came with the 900HD image, thought it was the same image
Official image AB_900HD/9000HD_7473_260508 for AB IPBox 900HD, 9000HD
Changelog:
add:
- usb automount function.(9000HD only)
- Turkish translation.
- DB updated to R7327. Database will be updated automatically.
- sorting function in PIP sub-channel list
- recording file format was changed.(will be applied from new REC. but old format will be played too)
- using HDD if download large s/w image(for example usb_all_noboot.img).
Need special server configuration.
- switch to live when end of file playback
- improve webinterface function
fixed,modify:
- modify tp information. Hotbird 11278 (need DB update)
- modify many tp information in Turky Sat (need DB update)
- Premiere EPG : show subfeed epg in mainfeed list epg. epg duplication problem.
- CAM work on backgroud recording.
- panic if enter wrong format in IP address.
- remove NTSC mode in AV setting.
- EPG related panic on some channel
- support 12h time mode in EPG
- random panic when play recorded file.
- improve performance on open FAV menu
- clear video plan when channel change.
Warning: If you use USB HDD , you need connect and switch ON HDD before STB boot.
This version supported only ext2 and ext3 filesystem, HDD with this filesystem will not be formatted.
If you format USB or e_SATA HDD , STB use ext3 filesystem.
This version doesn´t supported FATxx file system for photoshow and MP3 playback from USB device saved on PC!
If you want see Photos, copy pictures to /media/photo.
ftp login/password: root/ipbox
Software upgrade from USB memory stick (host):
• backup important data from memory stick before try to update. Remove all data from it.
• copy "usb update.img" image to USB memory stick
• run "remove h/w(memory stick)" function on PC. You can see icon on right bottom (left of clock) screen.
• turn off the stb(Standby + OK) and insert the memory stick.
• press and hold Standby button until front display shows “BOOTING” and press UP key
(on the front side of the box, not on RC), then front display shows "USB UPGRADE" message..
• uboot will update s/w with usb_update.img from memory stick
• Wait until DONE message displays. Restart your receiver.
