Multi-Platform coverage for Russia vs England

Sky Sports will broadcast multi-platform coverage of England's crucial Euro 2008 qualifier against Russia tomorrow.

For the first time, Sky's England fans will be able to watch their country live on three separate platforms:

Television: Richard Keys presents exclusively live coverage with Martin Tyler and David Platt commentating
Mobile: live coverage of the game on Sky Mobile TV, available to 3G subscribers on Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange networks

Online: live streaming of the game on Sky Anytime by PC Sky's PC based on-demand service, accessible via skysports.com

England will secure qualification to Euro 2008 should they win, though Steve McClaren's men face the intriguing prospect of a plastic pitch in Moscow. Kick-off is at 4.00pm with coverage beginning at 3.30pm.

Piers Croton, Director of Sky Sports Networked Media, said: "This is the first time we have offered live multi-platform coverage of the England football team. Considering the afternoon kick-off with many fans either at their PCs or on the move, I'm sure this coverage will be greatly appreciated."

The coverage is part of Sky's increasing multi-platform offering, giving customers more flexibility than ever before in how they access its content. Previous live sports events shown on mobile and PC, as well as television, include UEFA Champions League, Ryder Cup golf, Football League playoffs and England's Ashes tour to Australia.

Launched in November 2005, and now the largest 3G mobile TV service in Europe, Sky Mobile TV allows customers to receive Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3 plus Sky Sports News streamed live. Sky Sports News is currently the most watched mobile TV channel and unlimited access, without additional data charges, is available for £5 a month.

All 92 Premier League games being shown on Sky Sports this season are available on Sky Mobile TV , plus Football League, FA Cup, Carling Cup and Euro 2008 Qualifiers. Not to mention live coverage of international and domestic cricket, European Tour Golf and Guinness Premiership Rugby.

Sky Anytime PC is a PC based on-demand service that allows subscribers to enjoy live sports events and highlights as well as hundreds of Sky movies and TV shows.

The service is available free of charge to those with a Sky subscription, or for a small fee for non-subscribers wishing to access sports highlights.
