Anuvu channels are also on 4.8 East The Old SIRIUS.
12226 / H / 31420
All powervu and when I use oscam some channels shows up as AFN channels.
BUT THEY do not descramble even though.
I am investigating further.

Hash mode 9

I guess meaning problem to get CSA/DES video/audio Keys from ECM.
Are they using CSA or DES for stream encryption?
If CSA, can we get crypt8?

HE HE HE,
Now I remember, 20W was one of the last satellite I manage to Test. Was nice right after Hurricane Maria I manage to focus what was left of my satellite equipment. It gave me some joy to watch MTN TV every time we manage to run our generator.

So from 1 post I see :
MTN Worldwide TV has moved from NSS-7 @ 20 west inclined orbit
To Telstar 12 Vantage @ 15°west
1 x FTA TV 7 x PowerVu
12672 V 9039 2/3 DVB-S2/QPSK MPEG-4
Footprint = Europe/ME

Ups! it seems they are at 34W too.
And C bands seems to have C-band featuring EpicNG spot beams ...

34-W-C9-Spot2.png

Interesting. I wonder if I can try it with what I have left. I show I need at least 60CM C antenna! 1.2CM should be ok.

Code:
https://www.intelsat.com/fleetmaps/satellites/satellite_25/
https://www.lyngsat.com/Intelsat-35e.html
https://portalbsd.com.br/satelite_canais.php?sat=903

And there will be a few AFN freebies as consolation.

Now back to objective, from data shown
DVB Scrambling Algo: DES

Witch make the comments in post wrong
TS Before CSA: & TS After CSA: So It should read DES not CSA.

MTN Worldwide TV has since moved from Telstar 12 Vantage @ 15°west
to Astra 4A / SES 5 (4.8°E)

This was just few months ago in November 2023
12226 H 31428 DVB-S2 QPSK FEC 4/5
35 PowerVU Encrypted TV Channels

The Hash mode is the issue now , and you are spot on back years ago MTN was broadcasting NSS-7 @ 20 west inclined orbit
was pretty difficult to lock but i managed it in evenings when signal was quite strong was only Standard PowerVU with changing ECM Keys
but since the move to 15W and now Astra 4A / SES 5 (4.8°E) there has not been any breakthrough with the hash mode/s MTN is using
i think a small dish will get you a lock now because i have small 78cm and its more than enough for 97% signal
signal can be boosted very high since they are aware nothing will change and their encryption is secured well and truly
ECM keys can and will be found but no use to anyone .

Good luck @

I am not saying that I am capable of breaking the problem. But I will love to look at a log. Now I have no good antenna since 2017. But I can say that since new hash mode I had ask for a log many times. And no one as posted one.
So a few hours ago, I was just happy to find out that I may be able to try to use a Ku antenna to make my own log. And that work is not a waist of time as AFN has a transponder on it. Finally that it seems that ku band has a bunch of FREE FTA channels. So for me is a win-win situation.

Now last it make me happy realize or recall that MNT was the last mayor provider I saw before I lost my C antenna. I need to cut/trim one or two small trees that had grown out of proportion and are affecting my roof. A work I have to do any way. I will see if I can start with that in the next few days, and see what I need to point an antenna to 34W to make the log.

MTN is gone away from 4.8°E - 12226 H 31422 DVB-S2 QPSK FEC 4/5 as the transponder just has a carrier.
Could be a temporary drop out. Will see.

34W SPOT C1 is over most of Europe. And satbeams seems to suggest signal can start at 60cm to 120cm. Only lower part of Italy is out of footprint.

@rmcf1902bg
That is exactly what this whole thread is telling us, that at the moment Hash mode 9 is not broken, those keys you see means nothing. There is no hidden solution. In my case I lust want to log signal a little to look at the problem.
