There are a few skilled guys 'ere in the UK who can install 3.0m motorised dishes no problem.
I agree though, most SKY installers would sh*t themselves at the thought of sorting wan of them dishes out.

Generally, a 3.0m dish if motorised would be dual axis motorisation via actuators or on a dual axis slew drive.
An Azimuth only 3.0m motorisation would need a bit more care for arc tracking at the extreme ends of the arc but nowt that is rocket science, easy enough to do.

In the case of the OP, I think he has a 1.2m dish? Best bet is to stick it on a second hand Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.
Those Jaeger 1224's are real easy to install for accurate arc tracking, only two bolts to adjust and with a digital inclinometer it is a 10 minute job to set an arc once the dish is mounted on the pole.

Well sorted me even got free uk sky lol
i guess that is you sorted with a Sky Dish and a "Free" sub just as i thought and fully expected,
so much for that 3 meter dish then .... guess you not need it anymore i'll gladly accept it as long as its not warped :ROFLMAO:

A good satllite fiter is hard to find such a few people only have motorise dish’s nowerdays

Hi guys while we are on the same subject hope you don’t mind I am looking for a motorised specialist in the Teesside area north east England any ideas.Thanks.
Ps I have a 1.1 dish.

Have you tried satellite superstore they are up your neck of the woods. @ Strathmore Road, Rowlands Gill, Tyne and Wear, NE39 1HZ. UK
