There are a few skilled guys 'ere in the UK who can install 3.0m motorised dishes no problem.
I agree though, most SKY installers would sh*t themselves at the thought of sorting wan of them dishes out.
Generally, a 3.0m dish if motorised would be dual axis motorisation via actuators or on a dual axis slew drive.
An Azimuth only 3.0m motorisation would need a bit more care for arc tracking at the extreme ends of the arc but nowt that is rocket science, easy enough to do.
In the case of the OP, I think he has a 1.2m dish? Best bet is to stick it on a second hand Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.
Those Jaeger 1224's are real easy to install for accurate arc tracking, only two bolts to adjust and with a digital inclinometer it is a 10 minute job to set an arc once the dish is mounted on the pole.
