Missing Recyle bin in Desktop

I m using Windows Xp I have lost the recycle bin in my desktop. I have checked it in > propertirs > desktop> customise desktop also.but its not available there also ..can any 1 plz help to locate it where in window i can find and place it again in desktop. thanks

Hope some of this can help.

Method #1:

1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop
2. Select Properties
3. Click the Desktop tab
4. Click the Customize button
5. Click Restore Default
6. Exit all windows and restart your computer

Method #2:

Note: Be sure to make a backup copy of your registry prior to making any changes.

1. Go to ''Start'' and click ''Run'' In the run comman line type in ''Regedit''

2. Once you have done this on the Left window on the New window that has jus popped up locate the following :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace

3. Now hover the mouse over ''NameSpace'' and ''Right click'' and select ''Edit'' and then ''New''.

4.Now within the new Key you have created Copy and paste the following into it :

{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} Including the brackets.

Once you have done this exit the ''Registry editor'' and now restart your machine.
