1. Download a sifteam e2 flash version.
2. extract and rename "usb_update.img"
3. format dok fat32 and transfer file called "usb_update.img"
4. disconnect box from electrit and connect dok
5. hold "power" and
reconnect box when usb update come on let go the power. and
wait until "done" come up (After, you will see "erase" and then "flashing". At the end "DONE".
6. disconnect dok and restart the box.

u can use any image u like. but no cccam for ipbox use oscam mgcamd
or newcamd.

yes more memory but flash works faster and dgs have better
video .

1.install multiboot [flash]if u don't have.
2.The usb stick should be partitioned as sdb1,sdb2,etc.[if u use pgi in flash it's easy look in readme]
3.load e2 image 2 usb stick
4.put stick in box [when of]
5.restart box and hold multiboot keys on the remote for 10 sec to chang image as in multiboot option.

good luck

Step by step how to:

First install a multiboot as mbd said earlier if u do not have it already with your image (flash it like u r flashing a new image and remember to rename it as "usb_update.img". I know that a multiboot image comes with pgi image but you have to flash it separatly.

Get a usb stick, say 2, 4, 6 gb, etc.

Make partitions as you like but not less than 1gb for each partition, using the following commands via telnet:

fdisk /dev/sdb
Create 4 partition (exemple) at the USB stick with

n for new partition
w for saving the partition

Format each partition

If you have e2 in flash then,

mkfs.ext2 /dev/sdb1 -L ext2
mkfs.ext2 /dev/sdb2 -L ext2
mkfs.ext2 /dev/sdb3 -L ext2
mkfs.ext2 /dev/sdb4 -L ext2

FOR PGI IMAGES in flash:

mkfs.ext2 -I 128 /dev/sdb1 -L ext2
mkfs.ext2 -I 128 /dev/sdb2 -L ext2
mkfs.ext2 -I 128 /dev/sdb3 -L ext2
mkfs.ext2 -I 128 /dev/sdb4 -L ext2

mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb

with FTP copy the image u want (anyimage.tar.gz) to /mnt/usb
TELNET
cd /mnt/usb
tar -vzxf anyimage.tar.gz
sync
rm anyimage.tar.gz
cd /
umount /dev/sdb1

Repeat this procedure for every partition with other images

exit telnet

Then, upon reboot press and hold the relevant number of the multiboot button on your remote control until you see multi or sdb1, 2,.. or Enigma (deppending on tha multiboot you have or just flashed), then wait a few more seconds and then release the remote button. if u have done everything right then it should boot into e2 image.

Good luck

confused

Thank you MBD and asaphus :thum: :thum:

I'm a little confused how to begin.
Currently installed in my ipbox910: dgs r9580. (Very old)
Do I need first install another img and then install the multiboot????
Can I get a link to file: multiboot ?

By the way did not matter to me which img to use, what matters to me just to be stable, reasonably fast and I could install a cam that supports : cccam,
Does not matter if it: USB stick. flash.e1.e2
Please specify which img is more or less with these requirements.

Hi there,
I'd recommend the e2 image in flash instead of dgs based images (AAF latest image in the download section). By doing this you would be able to install other images in usb stick without going through all the above mentioned trouble (just install the bootplus plugin and then set whatever key on your remote for desired image to boot from).

hi asaphus
Thank you for your patience and time spent on me.
I get e10 when I try to install the Flash version of e2 aaf updated.
I get the file size after add 32.5 m
I was never able to install a file larger than 30 MB (my box the first models)

Does something have a suggestion how to do it or e2 another flash?

I did all the usual procedure: formatted in fat32 and of course I tried another disk on Kay......

Thank you

Er10= you didn't format the stick properly and / or forgot to rename the file to usb_update.img.

Hi everyone.
Can you, please, PLEASE, help me to find:
sifteam-e2-ee-1.5_tid1.3-cuberevo_mini2-flash.tar.gz
I have a Cuberevo receiver HD3000L and I accidently restored it to the factory reset without having the usb_update.img
It seems that the links to this file on hotfile.com have been redirected to www.motionpictures.org/watch-it-legally/
Maybe some nice person can publish this file somewhere private and send me a link.

THANK YOU in advace.
