Does Sky Germany work with the code , package Vip or with the Europe SP1 code ?Well it seem the Viark DRS 2 now has firmware supporting Sky DE

Tested SP1 on DRS2 after installing firmware 1.06 and so far so good sky de working well.
The new firmware hasn’t cured the issue where the remote doesn’t power up the box when shutdown but it’s no hardship to press the power button on the box to fire it up once a day.

Wait barney115 the next Update for viark sat 4k will open sky.de.viark drs2 and viark droi4k are also bright sky.deI Would say for Viark Sat 4K ...the next update that will arrive will probably be in a few weeks time

Well actually some do i just dont care one bit about SkyDE been open, but im pleased a form of icam is.

I carried out an experiment with @FENEKI for the freezing issue and we watched the same channel to compare results @FENEKI had constant freezing and after over 20 minutes no freezes for me on the DRS2 so doesn’t look like a server issue.
I did experience a lot of freezing last night and when I checked the box it felt warmer than normal so I dug out an old laptop cooler (usb powered with cooling fans) box running a lot cooler now and channels steady apart from the odd freeze. I also removed the viark from the vpn tunnel on my router last night to eliminate that.
Hopefully I will not be tempting the commentators curse and end up with constant freezing once I hit the post reply button

only the freezing constantly happening on Sky De but the other packages not freezing at all I even deleted the channels and make new fresh scan I have to try a factory reset and see if that solve the problem also I've got a PC cooler fan I will try to see if it makes different could be different boxes but I am sure they have the same chip

Yes specs are pretty much identical only difference is the droi has EMMC 8GB flash and the drs2 has
EMMC 16GB flash
