I just tested 3 different images in my Premium.

OpenESi 6.0 dated 24-feb-2108 from www.openesi.eu/images/
OpenATV 6.2 dated 24-sep-2018 from images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/nightly/index.php?open=azboxhd
HDMU 18249 dated 7-apr-2018 from www.hdmedia-universe.com/board/pages.php?pageid=1&box=azboxhd

All of these images does work quite well.
Note that OpenATV still releases frequent nightly builds, so now there are currently two images released since I downloaded it.
I ended up on the HDMU for now, since HDMU v15130 was the previous image I did use for long time.

Only thing with the HDMU is that it is big, so there is little rom for addons. It was so full that I had problems even installing a cam. I went for oscam v11.432 but the ipk file was bigger than the free space so I had to install it manually. In the end I did delete the terrestial.xml and cable.xml files from etc/tuxbox
to save some extra space. I also deleted the mediascanner plugin since I never use it.

But what I do have problem with, with all those 3 images, is recording.
If I set up a timer it will start recording and save some minutes of the recording, but usually it will hang, and the spinner logo will stay on until I restart the box.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an image that does work well with recording?

An update to my previous post about the recording problem.

I decided to that one of those Unofficial OpenPli builds posted here by nullpointer.
I went for the Openpli 6.0 dated 24.nov 2017. I did choose that over the 6.1 version because of the image size of the 6.0 is a few megabytes smaller.

After installing the image all did look well, but as soon I tried recording anything it failed again.

Then I decides to take the step and re-initialize the harddrive. I had lost of stuff on it, so I wasnt to happy about that. But now after have a freshly initiated drive, the recording does work again :)

I guess that all of those images I tested here earlier also would have been ok if I only had initialized the harddrive earlier.
