Kakha Kaladze has been looking ahead to the season restart as Milan continue their warm-weather preparation in Malta.
Kakha Kaladze is one of the players having his fitness monitored in Malta after his recent injury and the defender has been looking ahead to the restart of the season. The Georgian said: 'I still don't feel really great. If I can play in the Luigi Berlusconi trophy so be it, otherwise I will continue to train. In any case, what counts is being back as soon as possible.'
Kakha has been going through a specialised programme and said: 'The training is to build-up the calf and thigh muscle, so I have been in the pool in the morning as well as doing some strenthening work.'
Looking ahead to 2007: 'The year closed very well and although the Luigi Berlusconi trophy gives us a lift, it is still a preparation game. Our objective is the Champions League and move up the league table, the whole team is working hard for this.'
