Is mpeg4 decoding possible?

Hi, gurus!
Russian operator NTV+ (HTB+) has just announced that they are switching to mpeg4 broadcast which requires at least a change of the subscription card. They are also ready to sell me a new CAM and a new receiver. So I've got 2 questions:
1. Is mpeg4 decoding at all possible with Vu+ Solo2 with official mpeg4 subscription card?
2. If yes, is there a softcam which would decode the card?
3. If not, must buy a new Viaccess CAM from them or my current Viaccess which is has been working with their mpeg2 transmission should work? Put it differently, does CAM have anything to do with mpeg2/4?

How Jan said, has to do just with Video so if you STB does H264/MPEG4 you will be fine.

About new NTV+ receiver + NTV+ card - will this new card work out of NTV+ receiver,
in your Vu+ Solo2, I have no idea. I think not, but you must read russian forums,
what receiver model you will get then and about card in softcam...

About NTV+ CI+ CAM modules -

a) is older Viaccess SMIT CI+ module, CI+ vers. 1.2, it works in Openbox, Skyway, in others tuners CI+ slot, but not in Vu+ / Xtrend/ Mutant (enigma2 tuners) CI slot.

b) is new, since year 2015 ( or was it 2014), NTV+ Viaccess NEOTION CI+ module, CI+ version 1.3.

It also works in your Vu+ Solo2 CI module slot, when you have in use image, what has non-official
CI+ support -
1. VTi image
2. OpenATV image
(about latest BlackHole I don't know, maybe BH CI+ support is for Solo 4K only... I have sold my Vu+ ,
Vu+ Duo2, in October 2015)

Nonofficial CI+ support have Solo2, Solo SE and Duo2 , + Vu+ Solo 4K ( .. with VTi and OpenATV images)

c) and is new Viaccess SMIT CI+ module, from year 2016, CI+ vers. 1.3,

must also work in your Solo2 CI slot when right image is used.

Again - I think, new card what comes with CI+ module, will not work in your Solo2 cardslot when OSCam is used. Maybe you can clear some SD channels part this way, but HD channels 100% not.

... read russian forums, what is going on and what is best solution for you - Ci+ module/card or NTV+ tuner/card. ( .. or use some times cheap NTV+ _cardsharing, until it works and only when it will be closed maybe, then move back to official viewing)

Neotion CI+ v.1.3 module in Mut@nt HD2400 slot ( Mutant has CI+ supported also with OpenPLi, OpenViX and others, not only OpenATV can be used)

AES Key is needed for OSCam, to read this card,
but this AES Key is not public.

Also was/is not public 0500:040620 AES Key,
older NTV+ card AES Key.
Caid/ident 0500:040620, since year 2014, is used to get HD channels part and SD MPEG4 channels part from __cs-servers, these
cards homesharing is also not possible, because AES key is missing.
