how much signal for 28.2 E?

HI i thing the reception of astra 28.2E is not strong as it should, how much percentage you think i should be getting?
my dish size is 1,4 m motorised SE London

99% your dish must be out of lign if your in uk with that size dish or your LNB is faulty

Wow, believe it or not I am just getting 62% in some channels i do managed 68%
my LNB is dark gold 1month old, may be the dish is out of alignment
but why i get the most of satellite in the arc

your dish probs picks up the arc better going west and looses singal moving east hence the probs with signal can you get 39 & 42 east with out probs and good signal ...???

Sorry for been late No I cannot even pick BADR 26E
I think as you mentioned previously the dish is not aligned up properly
May I need to get myself a inclinometer and a signal meter and a “sunny day” and tackle it myself

yes get someone to correct this for you and you should be fine, i have the same probs but mine is west,i cannont get anything past 16 east moving my dish west

your receiver do not show noise?
(sometimes, if y have long cable / dameged, goes up noise or not good alignment dish to satalite - recommend noise is from 27 to 33 (-db) ofcorse better is less)
if you have very big noise in cable, then big problems start he (many lnbs goes down, or not corect shows frekvencies...)

It doesn't make much difference, but the skew of the lnb is slighly different for 28.2E than most other sats. You may have to tweak that to get 100% signal, but it shouldn't be as drastically bad as 68%. Some transponders are weaker than others, but the main channels seem to be put on good ones
