Help to beginner

All posted messages are finished projects. Who or where can I gat any information for begining? I have processors (AT90Sxxxx), can write code in assembler for, I've already done some things for my own use. But there are many questions:
1. What algorithm of exchanging data between receiver and card is?
2. What data stucture of external and internal memory are?
3. From what should I begin to write code?
4. What related topics should I learn?
5. And what did YOU begin from?
..... and so on.
