UK i am able to recieve thor 0.8w and lock onto feeds but when i move my dish to other sats, 28.2e, 23.5e, 19.2e, 10e, 16e and 7e my dish moves but i dont get signal for some reason, unless my dish is to low to the ground maybe?

YOU NEED THE EXPERT ON THE DISH WHICH HE CAN COME AND FIX THE SATTELITE THEN YOU WILL GET ALL THE SIGNALS

To obtain a suitable signal, the dish holder must be level. Use the scale on all four sides Secondly, the intermediate satellite, for example, I have in Algeria 4.9E It varies from region to region To find out the median Sattelite , download the Sat Finder app, activate Gps, it will give you coordinates, send a picture to me, and I will tell you what the median is Then you adjust the degree of height of the engine, for example, I am 35° Then you raise the signal of the intermediate satellite with the highest signal from the motor, and then you adjust the motor from the screws well You will get an excellent signal Any random installation will not get a result This is for the HTOH automatic motor

The middle Sattelite and the altitude you mentioned are just examples If you want to know the degree of engine lift and the appropriate satellite, just send me a picture of the coordinates

Hey dan where was the dish located before, you mention the dish came down in the wind was it on the same ground mount or located up on a building? Do you think the dish + motor could have taken a bump and moved them slightly? Did you do a full install from scratch or just take the dish and motor and add it to a ground mount.

the same place as it is now, just its now on a ground mount base, yea i just took it from the old pole and added it to the ground mounted base pole instead,

Hi Dan, can you check with a spirit level that your ground mount is totally vertical? Even if it's off a fraction the further away from 1w you go the further out it will get. If you think it's totally plum when you drive your dish to say 28e have you tried nudging your dish in the motor settings either east or west slightly to see if you can lock the signals?

Dan 0.8w is what we use as the reference satellite in the uk. If you took down your dish and motor guessing that would have been set at 0.8 before you took it down and then transferred it to the ground mount. If you put the motor on the pole and rotated the motor on the pole until you got thor this still may mean the pole is out slightly. 0.8w is the top of the arc for us.

++if your pole is even ever so slightly out you will pick up 0.8 but as you move the motor east or west it will miss those sats. Also if your ground mount is not sturdy it will miss those sats as the pole rocks left or right.+++
