Im entirely new, what is this "Mars" firmware? what diffrence does it have to the stock firmware i ordered mine completly new and its working well so far.

It will allow your to connect to the forever server.

The new mars firmware is functional as far as the forever server goes but it has too many bugs for my liking, all of which GTMedia know about.

If you dont need the forever server stick to the stock firmware.

What do you mean by "the forever server". Is that a new feature or?

So do you still have the factory stock firmware on the receiver? If you have not installed patched software then you will not be able to connect to the forever server. That allows you to watch premium tv channels. Hopefully thats correct.

Do you recommend this receiver for use with Forever Server? I need a cheap non-Spanish receiver (Viark, Qviart) so I can buy Forever cheaper
