Hi, I have 3. et9000 boxes. Two of them wich is runing fine with an wd. 2 terabyte green disk. I think I had to format them with orginal image. But cant remember for sure.
But now I got my third box and trying to format with a 2.5 terabyte wd green disk. But can`t get it working.
Are there any helpful program i can use maby? I`m not that good with telnet. :/

I am not too sure on the limit size of each image but i think you may have gone over with a 2.5tb disk have you tried a 2tb in there first to see if it works.

No I have not. It might come to that.
I had an dreambox dm7000 earlier where I had to make a swap file first to have enough memory to format an 650gB disk.
I can try that first. If that not works then the solution might be to go for a 2 tera disk.

At present the limit is 2TB maximum on all drives for the et9000

There have been new drivers released just a couple of days ago that will allow over the 2TB limit, ext4
