I can't set a username+password for the mounts, results in a crash.

USB is mounted, still Autobackup (to USB) fails.
Auto Backup recognises the last backup on the USB stick, but when I manually want to make a backup it fails.
Also to every other media by the way.

(openpli-py3.11-dm920-20221112)

Do you have a crash log?
Is this about network mounts? CIFS, NFS, Is Samba not an option?
How can I test it ? Because I don't get a crash when setting nfs/cifs share username and password.
Have you tested with the latest image from 12-11-2022 (openpli-py3.11-dm920-20221112)

No, it's not on my feed (but can be added to an installable package)
not image related
needs to update E2 settings, astra.conf

Auto Backup tested on usb media/hdd + media/sda1
Backup and restore folders and files
All succeeded (openpli-py3.11-dm920-20221112)

[*] Remounting '/dev/mmcblk0p3' to '/data'
[*] Remounting '/dev/mmcblk0p2' to '/mnt'
/mnt/etc/recovery/backup-hooks.d/fstab.sh: line 4: can't create /mnt/etc/enigma2/fstab.bak: Read-only file system

Just flashed the openimage and it worked fine me, normally I never install openimages in flash memory, I use Barry Allen for that.
Try to update zImage-rescue loader or flash original dreamos firmware first → then openimage

@all who installed this image
If E2 restarts slow, please reinstall dreambox-dvb-modules from feed,
copy and paste this telnet command :
opkg update && opkg install dreambox-dvb-modules-dm920 --force-reinstall && opkg install dreambox-dvb-modules-dm920-lcd --force-reinstall && opkg install dreambox-dvb-modules-dm920-stb-core --force-reinstall

Something is wrong, I thought I installed a clean flash, but f.e. the root password is saved.

How to add pictures in a post here?
I thing I know how you do that. You post a picture on Gifyu and link to that here.
So after a year the picture is gone.

Hi thanks for the feedback.
I don't have satellite channels and can't answer that with 100% certainty. It should work via streamrelay and a good c-line that you convert to an oscam or ncam reader. (see example in the configs)
Softcams "oscam-icam" and "ncam-icam" + "configs" are already included in the image, as well as a streamrelay "sky.de icam bouquet". I'd say try.
Don't forget to turn on the created oscam/ncam.server [reader] enable = 1
Maybe someone who has tested this image can confirm whether it works or not.

I can test satellite, if I get it working again.

I am now flashing the original dreamos firmware, could this be a good time to install multiboot?
I don't know where I saw a howto to do that.

One thing I noticed: I have DM920 Rescue Loader #103, even after I had flashed with the latest original DreamOS firmware.
And I saw you have #104. How do I update this zImage-rescue loader of which you talked?

Because I still can't flash your latest image.

By the way: They should name that "original DreamOS firmware" DramaOS. I could not even do or install the cable scan.
I could not scan a satellite and lots and lots of options missing...

Okay, so I first flashed with the original DreamOS image,
There I activated the rescue mode again,
And then I installed the latest openpli-py3.11-dm920-20221123 image.

20221124-about.png

Still the image crashes when I want to setup a username and password for the mounts (NFS mount).

After browsing the network, finding the NAS and choosing that IP-adres:

20221124-username-and-passw.png

I choose yes and type in the username and password that is setup in my NAS (and worked before):

20221124-username-and-password.png

After pressing OK I get a green screen.

Here's the Crashlog
