Cutting TRP Files - Audio Out of Synch

If this is in the wrong forum please move!

I have HD recordings from a Spiderbox 7000 HD. The files play back perfectly on the receiver and my network media player but the audio is out of synch when I try to playback on my PC.

I have muxed the videos with TSRemux, removed video from the end of the files but the audio is still out of synch, I have tried demuxed then muxing with mkvmerge and adding audio gap delays but the audio is in synch on one part of the video and out of synch on the next.

How do I fix this? How can I playback the files on my PC without audio synch problems? I have tried Mplayer but it crashes and can't get any video play to play the TRP files. I have tried Gom player, KMPlayer, Videolan, Media Player classic, installed Quicktime Alternative, FFDShow etc, etc.
