Clarification Needed on Forum Posting Guidelines

Dear Sat Universe Team,

I recently reviewed the guidelines in the 'PowerVu' section of Sat Universe, where I read the following notice:

"PLEASE NO CHAT/QUESTIONS/KEY REQUESTS IN KEY THREADS, USE CHAT SECTION! PLEASE ALL POSTING IN THE KEYS SECTION MUST READ."

Following this guidance, I proceeded to the 'Encryptions Chat' section to post a question, which included a reference to PowerVu keys. However, approximately ten hours later, I received an alert indicating that my thread, titled "How do You Enter PowerVu values in a STB?" had been deleted with the reason: "NO KEYS IN CHAT TOPICS READ FORUM RULES AGAIN!"

I’m uncertain where I may have misinterpreted the instructions provided. Could you kindly clarify the appropriate steps I should follow to ensure I am posting within the forum guidelines? Additionally, if possible, I would appreciate a copy of my deleted post for my reference.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Warm regards,

Wilbur Smith

Hi,
I read fastly your post this morning.
Basically if I'm not wrong you've posted the keys you were trying to put in your box in a public area (chat area).
Keys can be posted only in specific thread (that usually are in a forum area that request a previous registration
and can't be seen by unregistered guests).

So before a mod read and answer, I guess this was the problem.
You had to use generic keys pattern (as xxyyzz....) and be less specific :sneaky:

I suggest you to repost everything being more careful ;)

I could not help because I didn't know your receiver
