Channel Editor

Hey guys,
Anyone out there using FK -HD8500, I need 2 know who the channel editor works - I am unable to upload or download channels. I even tried using the USB by pressing save data while in USB Device mode and after that it shows 0kb data when inserted into PC.

What format is the Channel List file in i.e .sdx, .ndf, .dat etc?

If you've got a file, look at it using Notepad and note down the first characters on the first line!

This will tell you and me what form of database the channels are stored in!

Hi,
I have sorted the Upgrade issue, but my channel upload to STB is still an issue. I channel file is in .rs232 and also .dat. I just wanted to edit the ITV HD TP as there is no option in the Menu to change both VPID & APID.

Funny enough is that using the USB to save data from STB does not work either, after inserting the USB pen and hit Save option the STB says that file is saved but on the laptop is shows 0kb data, nothing.

Will appreciate if there is another way to edit the TP
