Hello,

I saved the channels list in the USB and tried to open it with the PC using Qviart Editor and Qviart Unic Stbeditor 1.4 and 1.6.

None of them can open my channels list.

Can anybody help? I suspect I have too many channels and that's maybe the reason.

Give a link to your channel list, check it ;)

I tried several times. I also removed all the channels and transponders and made a completely new blind scan for all satellites, and re-saved the channels list. Always the same error.

Maybe the receiver is "not able" to save correctly such big channels lists?

Any hints on how to correctly save it?

Menu - Extension - USB - Upload / Copy - Transfer / Copy channels to USB -
1) Press YELLOW (yellow) and select Send to USB channels
2) Press the OK button to submit feeds to USB.

I did as you said, with only one difference. In the English settings, the right menu is called "Expansion" not "Extension".

I followed the above steps (which are exactly the same I did previously) and saved the channels list once again.

It saved a new file to USB with the same content and exactly the same size.

What's wrong?

Ok, before doing it I selected "save ALL to USB" (I don't know what it is but hopefully it saved the current status so that I can revert to it later). And it saved me a .BIN file to the USB.

Then,

I loaded this list to the receiver and it changed me not only the channels (it starts with RAI 1, 2, etc) - it changed the language of the receiver to Italian, the color settings, etc.

I then uploaded once again the list of channels to USB and this time the upload to USB was much slower.

The save is a little smaller SDX file. Different.
The uploads I did before were 30635 KB and this one is 30343KB.

Here is the link to the new upload to usb.

Is there something wrong with my receiver?

I tried to revert it loading the BIN file I generated with "Save all to USB". But after loading it, nothing changed.

So I tried to load the .SDX file I saved today morning (30635 KB) - the same file that the channels editors can't open. And this one reloaded all the channels as I had before.
However it did not set up the colors, language.

It looks like that "Save channels to USB" in my decoder save channels, but not settings.
The .SDX that you sent me for test, saves both channels and decoder settings.

Really strange situation

I had Prometheus 1.16 downloaded from dvb-upload.

Before doing what you said I took a photo of the receiver info:

Then I downloaded Prometheus 1.16 from the site you gave and installed it.

Then I wanted to take a new photo of the receiver info, but I did not do it, because it has the same identical info.

Then I went to Savel All channels to USB... and... it saved me a .bin file instead than .sdx :mecry:

What's wrong now?

I found a workaround in a French forum!!
I go to USB, and instead of choosing the folder and then press the yellow button, etc, etc...

when I am in the USB mode and I see the USB content, I just click the SAT button on the remote control and then I press 1113... and voila.

I saves the channels list in the right format.

The question is.... WHY?
