First let me appologise for clattering the forum, because I started this thread in another section and asked to be moved here, but it didn't happen until now. Admins, meybe you could merge the two threads. Thank you!
I hope you can help me with this problem I have. It's really strange, but one day a couple of weeks ago suddenly my receiver
Clarke Tech C-tech 2500 plus lost the signal from the LNB when I turned it on. OK, so I thought the power supply of the LNB was gone, but no, it's still working - I checked the voltage.
In the end, the only way to solve the problem was to upload a firmware (any kind, be it orig. or 3rd party, any version, old or new) and it started working again - the signal was back - until the next day or two. So it looks like some sort of reset has to be made. The receiver is turned off only with the remote, so it goes only in stan-by mode and stays under power all the time. I can tell you I'm fed up with "updating" firmware every other day ...
I could also do a factory reset, but then I loose the channels list and all that ...
Can anyone please help?! I'm lost here. Thanks for any ideas!
