Buy Q-box One ?

Hi guys,

thinking of buying used Q-box One....
What's the support like and is there a future for this STB ? ( comparing to Dreambox for example)

Can it reproduce DIVX/XVID (with subtitles) and DVD movies from the external USB DVD player?

the future of STB's will be HD
so if you want to buy a new one,
look for one of them

QBox one can't play DIVX/XVID.....
DVD on teh USB I din't try, but I don't think
it will work

if you can get one for an ok price then go for it. otherwise i would not recommend the qbox one. i´ve had mine for some time now (10 months about??) and in comparison with dreamboxes it´s unstable, unpredictable, not well supported (but thanks to those making the q-active images). what disappoints me the most is the lack of support from duolabs - they seem to be concentrating on the qbox hd, which is understandable cos, as rudbull301 wrote, that´s the future.

Qbox1 is good stb but i recomened buying an hd reciver
in my opnion you should wait 1 or 2 months to see which reciver have stable fw+ good support
