Please help a newby...........

Have just bought the above receiver. Will appreciate if you would kindly help me to get it going.

Please direct me to get all necessary softwares and instructions.
If my questions have already been answered in the past, please give me the links so that I can follow it up.

I just opened it and the remote did not work. The batteries leaked out the connecters were rusty. Cleaned it and put new batteries but no joy. Is there any place to find a second hand remote?

Your help in this regard will be much appreciated.
