Hello.

I am trying to figure out which software is the best to watch feeds with my TBS6903 card. Also I have 2m dish pretty well configured (to be clear).

Right now i am using CrazyScan and EBS pro. But i figured ot that most feeds transponders i should find just not in the list after blindscan despite I have good signal from chosen satellite.

Can it be software issue? Should I try some other software? Please recommend some easy to use for non-professional user.

check your lnb frequency type settings on EBS pro or in crazyscan and if you made it right then you are good to go . . .

What are those frequency type settings? And where I can find them in EBSpro? And what they should be? (Sorry I'm kinda newbie in these questions)

If you're talking about frequency ranges and polarizations - these settings are ok. Im just wandering why i cannot see some feed transponders after scanning (when other transponder signals are strong). Could other software be better than EBSpro or it doesn't matter?

No it is not ok for sure because you cant get those transponder. Meaning there is something wrong. Check the type of lnb you are using then input it on lnb settings of ebs pro. Sample is 10750, 11300 etc.

Hi, you can try SmartDVB (smartdvb.net), it has built-in blindscan2 support. Also check TBS 6903 driver version, the last version is 1.0.0.5
Not all feeds can be hunted because your card has some limits, maybe these feeds can be received by special devices only...

Thanx for your advixe. Yes, I have latest version of TBS drivers. When i have been choosing this card some feedhunter told me that this is the one of best TBS card in the market. So I assume it should open much more feeds then now. Now im planning to buy new LNB and reconfigure my dish.

What "special devices" youre talking baout?

Sorry mate. No idea about it, as most of us here might not even have a card.
Suggestion: ask TBS seller itself or check linux-sat forums for more insights.

What mode are you using with your TBS card and EBSPro, BL1 or BL2? Try changing the scan mode to see if it improves the number of transponders. Another point, what satellites are you trying with, reception depends on your geographic location CrazyScan and EBSPro are good, you should be getting reasonable number of frequencies.

I have tried to scan 7E with both BL1 an BL2. Results are following:

BL1 scanned for 50 minutes and found 27 transponders.
BL2 scanned for 3 minutes and found 41 transponders.

And strange is that from 7E I can only see transponders with SR more than 27000. When i scan other satelliote with same settings i see also smaller SR transponders. What can be a reason?

What are the problems?

Normally for a Windows PC I would install the card in the PC first with the PC powered down, boot up the PC and install the TBS drivers.
Check Windows control panel to see if the card is listed as present, if it is then it should be OK to use.

If the card is showing in control panel you can proceed to install software that can use the card.
For signal level analysis, apps such as CrazyScan, EBSPro, TransEdit and IQMonitor are useful.
For viewing channels, apps such as DVBDream, DVB Viewer, AltDVB and SmartDVB are often used.

How to add h265 codec to dvbdream? Can someone help me with that?

1. Install the latest LAV codecs onto your PC
2. Use the menu system in DBVDream to select the codecs for each type you need. The codec selection per type is by a drop down option list, just select "LAV" for everything.
