Arsenal TV is to join the Virgin Media cable line-up, three months after the North London-based club made its debut on Sky Digital. The channel will be available from tomorrow (March 18) and broadcast for 11 hours a day, five days a week, free for subscribers to Virgin’s top tier XL package and included as part of the Setanta Sports pack for M and L subscribers.
Setanta also operates a similar channel with Liverpool FC as part of a three-year deal with the club. Chelsea and Manchester United also operate their own channels, though the collective agreement governing TV rights means that matches cannot be shown until 48 hours after kick-off.
